Template:TemplateOrCopy

This helper template simplifies calling templates that have editcopy versions. It automatically determines whether the current page is an editcopy and calls the appropriate template version.

Behavior

• If the current page is an editcopy (subpage named 'editcopy'), it calls {{TemplateName/editcopy}}
• If the current page is not an editcopy, it calls the base {{TemplateName}}

Usage

{{TemplateOrCopy | TemplateName}}

Examples

On a regular page, this calls {{Main Page/Section languages}}

On an editcopy page, this calls {{Main Page/Section languages/editcopy}}
